If you recall, we covered Jason's Toy Store's demise back in February -- click here to see the last days of Jason's. The location has sat empty since then, though we did see some movement inside over the past few weeks. Well, the new occupants have reopened and . . . it's another discount store. Another 99 cents store. *sigh* The old Jason's sign is still beneath that awning. Here's one last look at it:
It will sit beneath that awning for a long time -- preserved -- and one day, when that awning comes down, it will remind everyone of what used to be. We've had similar old signs pop-up and say hello in recent months, such as The Bella Vista Restaurant and Joseph's Pharmacy.
