Pottery Class for Adults with Pat Brintle
Professional Haitian-born artist Patricia Brintle will teach adults: general information on clay; hand-building methods; parts of a vase; firing process and terminology; decorative techniques and terms; optional decoration using acrylic paint. Clay is air-dried. Items may be taken home; all supplies will be provided. Preregistration.

Urban Stages On Tour Presents "Warriors Don't Cry" by Eisa Davis
An empowering adaptation by Eisa Davis (2006 Pulitzer Prize Finalist), "Warriors Don’t Cry" chronicles the true-life story of Melba Beals, a prominent figure in the Little Rock Nine. This historical account contains strong language not appropriate for small children. Parental guidance is recommended.

Come explore math and science topics through poetry and creative writing with NYC Poet Kamilah Moon. We will look at the work of established poets and explore various poetic forms, as well as learn to observe details in new ways. And you thought math and science was boring!! Space is limited.
